Mireia Sellarès
Resident artist. Illustrative and contemporary style
"I find inspiration in the Pre-Raphaelite period as an artistic movement, especially artists such as John William Waterhouse, John Everett Millais or Dante Gabriel Rossetti. I like the romanticism and realism of tehir works, and their interpretation of Greek mythology. I am also inspired by Art Nouveau, with artists such as Klimt or Alphonse Mucha. Impressionism, with Monet, Van Gogh or Mary Cassatt; or expressionism, with Egon Schiele or Matisse.
I like the organic lines, avoiding geometry and perfect shapes; I love to draw characters and learn with their expressions & emotions."
